I am an IT and BPO Sales & Business Development Professional. Having travelled extensively across continents, I am extremely familiar with geographies of the world and can easily fit into culturally diverse environments. My management style is hands-on and entrepreneurial. Some of my recent key achievements, are laid out here:

• Was mandated in 2005, to reorganize an IT company, which is part of an industrial group based out of India, with two of the group companies listed on the BSE.
• Could complete the reorganization plan successfully and within the decided time-frame and managed the organization with complete P&L responsibility.
• Moving forward with the entrepreneurial spirit, took the new challenge of strategizing and executing the commercial sector market entry for software and bpo services, at a US based software services organization.

I had always wanted to have a blog of my own and have been contemplating for quite sometime, for sewing-up something relevant and powerful that can contribute to the society in many ways. I dreamed up of having a blogging site, which would be loved by many sections of the society. There has always been an inner voice that had been coaxing me into writing, but I had chosen a different path as a career, a more commercial one, i.e. sales and business development. As the saying goes that better late than never, so here I am, with my BLOG, titled as ARUPBYTES. And, what better time than this, to launch something like it, as the world is going through a major crisis of confidence in the banking system. Unmanageable inflationary pressures, volatile commodity, money & stock markets, depleting foreign currency reserves, falling industrial production, rising jobless rates and what not. I would be covering a lot of these in the coming days and try to bring a difference in the thought process, howsoever small that difference may be. These posts would have very little academic bias, they would rather be oriented towards sensitizing people into looking beyond their social, political and economic realms and contribute towards building a better society.  

As for the content, I would like to make it a place, where people with varied interests can enjoy and get benefited. So you may find stuff on technology, business, global economic challenges, markets & marketing, insights into the social scene and more. At the moment, there is not much that you can read, but do visit more often and you may find lots of interesting posts in the days to come.
